Chad and I are married!!! It seems like the time passed so quickly, but we are both very glad it's over. We are ready to move forward with our life together.
Our wedding day was fabulous. We couldn't have asked for better weather, a better bridal party or better guests. The church was slightly hot (by slightly I mean VERY) but the ceremony only lasted about 30 minutes, so that was good.
The reception was GREAT! We started off with toasts from Kelley (the bestman) and Lindsey (the maid of honor), followed by a surprise toast my sister Kendra's fiance, Joey, sent all the way from Iraq. As soon as the DJ said who it was from, I burst into tears and so did the rest of the reception. I wish he would have walked in the door after they played it, but that only happens in the movies. [Side note: we can't wait for Joey to get home in 2 1/2 months] The food was awesome and then the dancing started! Our DJ was amazing. The dance floor stayed full the entire night. I'll post pictures as soon as I get some from people. For now, I just have two teasers :)

Let me be the first to send a virtual congratulations! I SO wished that I could have been there... I was hoping to plan one of those "walk through door unexpectedly" episodes, but it just wasn't possible. Know that you were both in my thoughts and mind ALL DAY LONG!
I have been the happiest I have ever been since marrying Fred - it's changed me so much for the better. I have learned to be a softer, more understanding person. This isn't to say that we haven't hit bad patches, but when you've married the right person life can only get better! I know that you two were meant for each other and I can't wait to hug The Stewart Family the next time I see them.
In the meantime, keep up the blog because I'm a total junkie.
