I am not a gardener. My allergies are so bad when I go outside in the spring that I don't even attempt to plant things. I even when as far as to rip out any landscaping that needed to be weeded. Plus, my philosophy of "the more you water, the faster they grow" seems to be wrong. However, my 'friends' on TheNest.com are starting their gardens inside without buying the pre-grown plants and inspired me to try it. I found this little gem at K-Mart for $.99 and figured if I failed miserably I was only out a buck. Oh and it was marketed for kids! Therefore, should be "Lindsay safe."
I was getting very impatient waiting for things to happen and practically admitted failure, but my little seeds sprouted!!!! Look at those pretty little seedlings!
They are so big that they are even with the edge of the cup!

Yay for cute plants! Good luck on nurturing it... I'm definitely not much of a green thumb, which is odd considering how much I like green things. Maybe I'll give something a try!
