Last Monday was my birthday. Woot. The big 2-4. What happens when you turn 24? Nothing... other than the party I threw myself haha :o) We had a good time. Here are a few pics from the big event:

I got a bunch of good stuff for my birthday. My wonderful husband got me Adobe Photoshop Elements 6! I'm so excited especially since I got my Nikon D70S. I've been playing with it since it arrived. Here's my photoshopped Lacy:

I'm not entirely happy with the black and white conversion... it doesn't 'pop' like I want, but I think it's decent for my first attempt. Oh and Lacy says that she deserves a spotlight on her... Loser.

Yay, an update to The Stew's News! Have fun with Photoshop!
Congrats on PSE again! Go to Enhance, adjust lighting, and adjust levels to make the B&W pop. The other thing that you could do is create an adjustment layer for the levels (does the same thing but in a layer). Have fun!
I'm such a nerd! i'm playing with a B&W conversion right now and forgot to tell you to also adjust your brightness and contrast to get your B&W's to "pop".
